Drop Day

Terms of Use

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Gareth Shannon, who makes Drop Day - Music ("Drop Day", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Drop Day.

Your account

No tolerance for objectionable content

Drop Day is for sharing music with people you know. We don't allow, in chat, rating comments, notes, names or profiles:

Music you drop is your club's business, and lyrics or album art are fine. These rules are about how people treat each other.

Reporting and blocking

Press and hold a chat message or rating comment to report it or block the person who wrote it. You can also report or block someone from their profile. Blocking hides their messages and comments from you, and they aren't told.

We look at every report within 24 hours. If something breaks these rules we remove it, and we may suspend or delete the account of whoever posted it, without warning.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the members of the clubs you post it in, so that Drop Day works. When you delete your account we delete your profile, ratings and messages; Drops already shared stay in the club's history as "Former member". See our Privacy Policy.

Music and other services

Drop Day doesn't host music. Listen links open Spotify, Apple Music and other services, which have their own terms. Album details and artwork come from public music catalogues.

The app as it is

We work hard to keep Drop Day running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is", without warranties, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app about important changes. Carrying on using Drop Day after that means you accept the new terms.
